Problems at the marina

The marina maintenance man has his hands full today.
He has at "least" 8 broken pipes from the freeze.
Most of these are under the floating docks and someone
must be in the water to do the repair.
His boss decided it was better to turn the water off
then let it run.
Better than the last hard freeze when they had over forty
broken pipes.
I thought I was smart, I had 6 water outlets that I let run
during the night, one of them still froze, when I checked it the next
morning it had no flow. I found that pipe, (PVC) had broke at an elbow,
I fixed that, then after things thawed, my wife report there was water
running in the porch, our ice machine has an internal leak. I have not
yet checked to see what cracked in that.
It's always something.

Now he's up to 12 broken pipes and or brass ball valves.

Some friends were in a motorhome at a campground in Savannah for the past couple days. Their water
pump froze up, along with all the water at the campground = the pipes were above ground.

Hope you're day is spectacular!

My dad years ago had property at Klamath Falls, OR. He was there with his
motor home and most of the pipes cracked. -39F. He decided to move back to
Calif from his property there.

Don't I know... Twice in the last five years I have had to replace pipes
and fixtures from **** tenants who let the oil run out and freeze the
place, then abandon it... Looks like I am in the middle of round three
right now. I am getting pretty good at it though, last time I did over
30 seams, and only one leak...
