Yo Tim...

....I'm planning, tentatively right now, to ride down to Winston Salem, join up with the brother who
lives there, and then ride to Harrison, AR, for a few days cruising in that neck of the woods. They
even put out a flyer for places to ride:

I'm having doubts about the charging system on the Guzzi. Seems like the battery gets too dead too
quickly. It could be because the $40 garden tractor battery that I put in there just isn't all that
good. Anyway, I'm wondering if you have any ideas for a good garden tractor sized battery. I've just
been buying whatever they have over at Advance Auto.

Hope you're day is spectacular!

I buy $100 MC batteries and $40 garden tractor batteries. Both last
about 2 years.

i don't have a good answer to that, John. People ask me, where to get a good battery. I say "anywhere you can find a good battery"

OK. Guess I'm expecting too much. I'll keep buying $40 garden tractor batteries, which, luckily, fit
in the Moto Guzzi.

Well, the Wal Mart batteries get some decent reviews, and the price is right.

Grab it... Unless something has changed, most wet cell batteries are
about the same...

The good thing about a Walmart battery is, within the warranty period,
you can bring one in with a bullet hole in it and they will give you a
new one. You don't even need a receipt. They just scan the bar code on
the battery.

Maybe I can take it to the range?
