IMO and contrary to someones personal belief; Cracker Barrel isn't a place for "Health food" There are plenty of healthier choices on the menu there, including lots of different veggies and chicken choices, and I don't mean greasy Maybe , but I dont' see very many people going in there to eat 'healthy' BTW, the only times I eat in there is if my wife drags me into the place which isn't very often. I can cook their menu at home. |

Besides, I have seen most of you post recipes here that are beyond unhealthy and for dishes I wouldn't feed to a barnyard pig. We eat at Cracker Barrel when we are traveling the interstates far from home and want a decent meal without having to stray far from the off ramps. -- Religion: together we can find the cure. |

Last night we had our favorite "hybrid" meal.. Half out, half in... We got a huge slow roasted garlic chicken from Walmart and I steamed some fresh potato and beans to go with it..... The chicken was awesome, I could never cook one that good with what I have to work with here... |
