....is a sweet shooting little gun. My wife loves it, and I love it. Might have to buy another for
her. If you need a nice little shooter for your arsenal, this is a goodun'.

Small enough to be a nice carry gun also.

John, have you ever tried a Ruger LC-9? I had a chance to shoot one
this morning and was very impressed with its light weight, small size
and smooth trigger pull. Recoil was not bad either considering how
small and light it is.

John, have you ever tried a Ruger LC-9? I had a chance to shoot one
this morning and was very impressed with its light weight, small size
and smooth trigger pull. Recoil was not bad either considering how
small and light it is.

A friend has one that he carries in a pocket holster. It's a tad bigger and about an ounce heavier
than the Sig P938, but I liked the trigger pull on the Sig a lot better. And, although it shouldn't
play a part, I know, I really liked the 'M1911' looks of the P938. This is the one I got:

With the seven round magazines, there is an additional 'finger rest' at the bottom of the grip.

That's true and I was concerned about it also until having a chance to
actually shoot one. It turns out that the trigger pull is short
enough and smooth enough that you hardly notice. In my opinion and
experience, double action is probably less likely to jam when you are
depending on it.

That's true and I was concerned about it also until having a chance to

I'm no expert on the inner workings of a pistol, but I can't see why SAO would be more prone to
jamming than DAO. I've never had either one jam, except when a friend was shooting. He's over 85,
and I think he was suffering from 'limp wrist', so the S&W M&P 9 was jamming on him. After I told
him to keep his wrist firm, he had no more trouble.

My friend with the LC9 is very happy with it. He likes the design because it makes 'pocket carry'
very easy. I'm sure it's just as accurate as the Sigs, etc. But, it's probably nowhere near as
accurate as a CZ75 that's been reworked to the tune of thousands of dollars like our friend here had
at one time.

That was my impression of the LC9: a very good pocket carry gun,
somewhat similar to the Kel-Tec PF9 but a big step up in quality.

The CZ75 is an excellent gun, more reliable than most and very, very
accurate. My first shot with one was right through the middle of the
10x ring at 30 feet. Beginners luck. Whether or not Harry actually
owned one, modified or not, is open to conjecture. If past
performance is any indicator, probably not but who cares.

Regarding the reliability of semi-autos, I see jams at the firing
range all the time, even with highly rated guns that are well
maintained.

The CZ gets good reviews, from what I've seen. There's a stainless steel CZ75, 9mm, used, for sale
at my range. Nice looking gun. Don't remember the price.

such an unsafe pistol from a once fine firearm.
