In an interview with Italian newspaper La Stampa, Pope Francis responded
on Saturday to Rush Limbaugh's recent accusation that he is a "pure

Asked how it felt to be called a Marxist, Time Magazine's Person of the

"The Marxist ideology is wrong. But I have met many Marxists in my
life who are good people, so I don’t feel offended."

Pope Francis went on to reiterate his criticism of trickle down
economics, saying it never benefits the poor, instead resulting in the
rich simply keeping more for themselves:

"The only specific quote I used was the one regarding the
“trickle-down theories” which assume that economic growth, encouraged by
a free market, will inevitably succeed in bringing about greater justice
and social inclusiveness in the world. The promise was that when the
glass was full, it would overflow, benefiting the poor. But what happens
instead, is that when the glass is full, it magically gets
bigger...nothing ever comes out for the poor. This was the only
reference to a specific theory. I was not, I repeat, speaking from a
technical point of view but according to the Church’s social doctrine.
This does not mean being a Marxist."

Maybe the Catholic church should get off the billions they have and
give that to the poor. Lets see how long that lasts. Until then. Shut
the **** up Frank.

It's always a pleasure to watch christians trash each other.

How f'ing stupid. Christians are not trashing Christians because they believe the policies of the
specific church should change. If two Democrats disagree on a government policy, does that mean
they're 'trashing' each other?

I think they'd like your company in alt.usenet.kooks, where you've been posting lately.

You actually FOLLOWED him there? You just can't fix stupid!

No need to follow him there...just look at headers of posts he's made. Same way I knew what version
of Agent you were using. You should try to learn something about it...and its interface with Google
Groups.

Come on, man (assumption there, I know), your display of intelligence is embarrassing.

Most all of the time the christians who are in disagreement with each
other don't resort to
killing each other, unlike atheists and muslims.

Excellent point!

History is full of Christians killing each other and people who were
not
Christians

History also includes beliefs that the world was flat, thunder was the
result of a ****ed off god and man could never fly, none of which have
anything to do with life in 2013.

When was the last time you read about a Christian sect advocating
beheading for non-belief?

What difference does the method of murder make? Are you saying that
beheadings to kill people of different religions is not okay, but that
shootings and artillery shelling are? Well, that certainly lets the
christian serbs off the hook for the horrors they perpetrated in the
late 20th century, eh?

Come one. You are smart enough to know the difference between religion,
politics and the inability of them to mix. Wars are fought primarily
for geo/political reasons and by people of all faiths. Killing for
purely religious reasons is unique and restricted to certain faiths
today and those faiths do not include Christianity.

I know exactly what you are going to say next. Go ahead.

It must feel creepy being inside Harry's head.
