How happy do you really think she is not to have a home? Harry, you acted like she was living in a cardboard box in an ally. Conservative Christians just slay me. GOOD! We keep you on your toes and give you something to talk about that way. Earlier today I saw a bit about a fundie preacher in Texas, I think, who used church funds to build a $10 million house. Tithes? Yeah, and look at how much Madelyn Murray was holding when she was murdered. I think it was about what... 3 mil? I had no idea Mrs. O'Hair demanded that her followers tithe, as many christian ministers do, or that she engaged in peddling superstitious bull****, as christian ministers do. She didn't have to. she wallowed in it. Oh, really? She was an atheist. There isn't a shred of proof for the existence of "god" or that your savior was anything more than just an itinerant rabbi. If you believe more than that, you're just believing in superstitions no different than if perhaps a bit more advanced than the ancient Egyptian belief in Ra. After all, the earth is only 6,000 or 9,000 years old, and man and dinosaurs roamed the earth together, just like in the Flintstones. -- Religion: together we can find the cure. |

Well, of course...why would you be interested in his remarks...after all, you're not a papist. Funny stuff. Oh, I did want to say that "Papist" is a derogatory term, but I am sure you knew that. Right? Whether they are Catholics or not, hundreds of millions of people around the world are interested in what the Pope says or writes. Harry still thinks the Pope was referring to those folks in the US who are getting welfare, but live in an apartment, eat regularly, have a TV , cell phone, etc. He needs to read something like this: http://www.clicktop10.com/2013/08/to...world-in-2013/ or, look at something like this: http://tinyurl.com/l2cagz5 Then maybe he'll understand what the Pope meant by 'the poor'. John H. -- Hope you're having a great day! |

If that was supposed to be a clever remark on your part, you need to hang out with a brighter crowd. I don't find it amusing to read about these poor kids suffering as they do because of situations they had no hand in creating.
