I read the last e-mail I thought Yanmar was the most used marine eng in the
world because of the price and there being made in Asia

Many Yanmars are made in Europe - Holland I think. And IIRC, Westerbeke and
Vetus use a Mitsubishi block. Its hard to tell where things come from nowadays.
