Jesus was known as the "Light of the World" and He did a lot of preaching from a boat.... LOL! === Yes, and there are some pretty good sea stories. One that I always relate to is the one where Jesus and his disciples/fishing mates are caught in a storm and chaos ensues until calm finally prevails. Mark 4:35-41 Having weathered a few storms of similar ferocity it is easy to appreciate the situation. No mention of lighted boats however. I imagine that was scary for the disciples but Jesus could just walk ashore if the boat sank. The scary part would be watching someone walk on the water. Mikek The scary part was trying to figure out where you and the rest of your crew ate those magic 'shrooms that led you to imagine the sight of someone walking on water. At least the author wished all a Merry Christmas. Nice. John H. -- Hope you're having a great day! We had our local boat parade last Saturday, I don't know how it went. I've had three reports first one said "there were 5 boats" I thought that's lousy. The second person said "there were 10 boats", well, so, so. The next person said there were 15 boats! Eye witness's have problems, but they should be able to count! I work on the marina, I was glad to leave before it all started. Mikek |
