Default My day so far... :)

Was up at Home Despot early this morning to pick up a gallon of interior
paint, and was pleased that HD arranged this wonderful greeting just for me:

http://tinyurl.com/lkat27b

It so pleased me I bought more stuff.

On the way home, I stopped at the supermarket to pick up a few things
and when I got to the cashiers, there was only one, with six people in
line. So I went over to the self-checkout and naturally it jammed on me.

There was only one thing to do...I just left the basket of groceries
there and walked out of the store and on the way out I told the manager
he should have more than one cashier working the morning shift. Big
superstore grocery store, too, used to be owned by a local family but
has been flipped over the years from one megacorporation to another, and
each time service has deteriorated.

Have nice day.

The self-checkout machines only accept American currency Harry.

Damn!

I didn't get that far. Two items scanned and went down the belt and then
the damned machine went berserk.

Interestingly, I used self-checkout at HD. The difference there was
there was a nice young lady supervising the self-checkout registers and
the customers, and when something I was buying didn't scan properly, she
took over and took care of whatever the problem was.

I looked...Mitt Romney had already emptied out the gold and replaced it
with junk bonds.

Better than than the Federal Government. Emptying the treasury, and
selling junk bonds to itself. Romney's bonds still might have value.

Worth about as much as your promissory notes, I reckon.

If the unions weren't trying to get 40 bucks an hour with bennies for
what amounts to a trained monkey to punch in numbers, and put food in
bags.... we still might have people working at the grocery stores.
