winterized her last week. batteries are out, engine flushed with prop
glycol. so now the hibernation until march. a season empty of
destructive storms. but one of our beloved dogs died over the
summer...

until next year

One of the benefits of being boatless (for now). :-)

Sorry about the pet loss. That's always tough. Some of the recently
announced studies regarding dogs and how they think are very
interesting. They think more like us than we ever knew.

But they will never have thumbs! Sorry bob about your beloved... they
are amazing when they are with us even if the time is short.

Had my Mercury 60 Big Foot winterized last week.
Now I just have to remove the battery, maneuver the boat into it's winter spot, jack and block the frame so the wheels spin freely and then erect the Navigloo cover for a long 7 month sleep.

That is one of those rituals that I absolutely do not miss. Why not
winterize the house and trailer the boat south? Lots of your
neighbors are here.

I have to winterize the trailer, but it's at the dealer's. Hopefully they'll be done with it before
the first hard freeze.

John H. -- Hope you're having a great day!

Park your trailer where the freeze threat is minimal and continue to
enjoy it all winter long.

That sucks. Here I can leave it in the drive as long as I want. I could even park it in the street,
but the neighbors could get up a petition, and with enough signatures I'd have to move it (into the
driveway, if I wanted).
