As you all know on october 3rd the 'World's toughest yacht race' will start
from Portsmouth (UK). After this 30.000 miles around the world against
prevailing winds.

The 18-person non-professional crew will need team work, team work,
and a lot of hard work to get around.

Vendee Globe are all tougher races.

if "difficulty" and adverse conditions are anything to admire the whole
bloody lots of them are no more than a bunch of poofs tea parties compared
to what thousands of people endured on the murmansk convoys....

me, I see more merit in actual skill, which could be better demonstrated by
giving them all a fleet of identical old gaffers.......
