West Virginia was one of those border states you think were all solid
union. If you are talking about Kentucky, right across the river from
Cincinnati, that is virtually Ohio.

I recall a couple of traitorous Confederate flag episodes in SW Missouri
when I was in college, either in Joplin or Springfield, and a decade or
so later there were incidents involving that flag of disgrace in
Virginia. That's what, five decades or more ago?

There were plenty of confederate flags in southern Maryland in the
60s, 70 and 80s, including Calvert county. In the late 50s there was
even a network show glamorizing Major Mosby (The Gray Ghost)
They sold all sorts of "merch" around that , hats, flags, toy guns.

I think you are just in denial and suddenly coming up with outrage
about something that has been around for 150 years.

Did I say or imply West Virginia was a "solid union state"? No, I did not.

You said Maryland was and they were exactly the same status.
Maybe you forgot

Oh...I was talking about traitorous Confederate flag episodes, not the
existence of such flags.

You seem to think everyone who has one is a terrorist racist.

Again, you are not reading for content. Lack of liberal arts studies, I
suppose.

Meaningless insult

Insult to Liberal Arts students. Some can reason.

harry has been getting pretty desperate the last few days. Sexual
fantasies about children, making up stories (someone alert dick) about
other posters, ****ing nasty stories, and wishing death on just about
everyone again.... snerk...

This from the very person who posted here about having email contact
with a poster's minor child.

Why not? There were slaves working in Huntingtown in 1862.

And your comment
about the Confederate flag is also silly. I don't think those who have
bits and pieces of Nazi memorabilia are traitors. If they wear them or
display them on their houses, perhaps they are.

I do not think you can equate a confederate flag to a swastika.
The CSA did not invade anyone, the Union army did.
Sherman was a terrorist who waged war on civilians.
Great bunch to be proud of.

I would guess a strong confluence of those who wear Nazi insignia and
those who display the Confederate traitor flag.

That must just be those Maryland bigots

More likely your Florida crackers who wear their Confederate traitor
flag shirts, Nazi pins and Teabaggin' sweats.

The nazi regalia seems to be a northern militia and biker gang thing.
If you put a swastika on your truck around here it would be burned in
the parking lot.

There are a number of "southern" militant organizations that have been
identified as "neo-nazi" groups, one of which, I believe, is call the
Southern Nationalist Network. But I'm sure you'll deny their nefariousness.

no one is claiming there are no neo nazis in the north. The posit was
that they were in the south, too, and probably some of the same folks as
the neo-confederates and the teabaggin' traitors.

What could be more fun than staying in a portable motel room to attend
an event populated mostly by old white folks?

Sitting in my wife's basement populated by sickly cats and a Wal Mart computer?
