First, look into Distinguished Gentleman's Boating Club. Sounds real good, but it might be by invitation only. Good luck to you in qualifying. If that doesn't work out, try http://www.thehulltruth.com/boating-forum-14/ or http://forum.woodenboat.com/forumdis...uilding-Repair I don't understand why posting on any forum would elicit "crybaby replies." Say, old chap, you wouldn't happen to be a troll, would you? You never asked a single question here. One of our respected members is a fellow named Scotty, who is quite knowledgeable about small boat building. He would have provided advice about that - if you had asked a question. |

Why not simply ask your question rather than denigrate the group? You've yet to say anything about boating. -- John H. Hope you're having a great day! |

If he has, it's not under FOAD, ESAD, or any of his other 'favorite' self-descriptions. With his behavior, he'd last about 12 minutes. -- John H. Hope you're having a great day! |

I really don't know of any anymore... but I have a lot of experience building stitch and tape, tack and tape, etc. boats. If you have any specific questions me and a couple others here with knowledge will probably pitch in if you want to wade through the crap.... Here's my old website, er, my Stitch and Tape "credentials" if you will http://www.smallboats.com ..... They call me PhychoScotty here, but I am Scotty... I will do what I can... |
