day swim from Cuba. It was her 5th attempt. No one has ever done it
before.

No one has ever done it before "without a shark cage"... to be more
specific.

That's true as it turns out, but use of a shark cage gives the swimmer
an unfair advantage in other ways so is disallowed for record setting
purposes.
