How did I miss this. Surely you liberals were watching and could have told us about it.

Matthews is a smart guy and passionate in his beliefs. He's a
progressive but he's not afraid to speak up about problems in his own
party.
A lot of people don't like him because he's a blabber mouth and often
rudely interrupts the guests on his show. I think it's more likely
that his brain is going at twice the speed of his mouth.

I got a kick out of him when MSNBC announced the return of Ed Shultz
to daily programming .... in "Hardball's" time slot at 5 pm.
"Hardball" was moved to 7 pm. Matthews was practically begging his
viewers to still watch him during his shows the week before Big Ed's
return. I think he feels that MSNBC is eventually going to show him
the door.

It was a long version of "the President didn't know".... Even though
common sense and a look at the Whitehouse guest list would suggest
differently....

He doesn't let the truth get in the way of a good rant and NBC has
already shown him the door.

Really? 7 pm is a lot closer to prime time than 5 pm. Prime access
begins begins at 7:30 pm. Early fringe begins at 4:30 pm.

"The Chris Matthews Show" on NBC is gone.

I am not sure what the value of the various time slots is on MSNBC but
he is competing with Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy here.

MSNBC has such dismal viewer ship I doubt it really matters. At a
certain point they are not really competing with "TV", only Fox and
CNN.

TV programming choices are a mystery to me.

I liked to watch "Ed" once in a while as a lead-in to Rachel Maddow, who
remains my favorite. I thought Chris Hayes, the guy who replaced Ed at
8 pm, was too wonky and talked too fast. He was a better guest than host.

I wonder if MSNBC will find a hosting spot for Michael Steele. He was a
lousy political candidate, but he's very good on TV as a commentator,
and he's one of the few on the GOP side who doesn't come across as insane.

Chris "Tingle Up My Leg" Matthews is no longer on NBC on Sunday mornings. If he was on his
way up he would have kept the NBC and MSNBC gigs. He is being shown the door.
