could have played and in fact did play the role, Paul Robeson, for one.
In 1965, to have Olivier as Othello was more than a bit condescending to
black actors.

Eddie Murphy playing an old white Jew in Coming to America must have
really pushed you over the edge.

Harry is merely feigning his offense in order to mask his extreme racism
so he can claim to be a progressive open minded liberal. None of which
he really is.
