Charter in England?

Stimulated by a recent post, I'd like some information on chartering,
too--but in England. Bareboat or daysailing. My wife and I are doing an
Elderhostel next fall, a week each in London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. We'd
like to spend some time after that sailing. Suggestions? (Happy to offer
advice about sailing in the San Juan Islands in NW Washington, should anyone
be interested.) Thanks in advance.

Dick, the autumn will be a good time as the season is getting quiet, if you
don't want to do extended sailing a good spot is around the 'Solent'
Charter from Poole, Lymington, Southampton Portsmouth. There's lots of
interesting places and you are in moderatly shelter waters. Start at
www.YBW.com or Google charterers.
