The problem was not constipation, as initially thought, but congestive heart failure. We had to put
the cat down. Huey (Huguenot) was 18 years old. Good old cat, and a great lap warmer. We'll miss
him.

This is the boy this past Christmas. http://tinyurl.com/mmgwxue

Nice picture for the family album. Don't know much about cats but 18
years sounds like a full, happy life.

Sorry to see that. Losing a family pet sucks. Cats can live that long
and even a little longer, and typically are done in by kidney disease or
heart failure.

Yeah, he did OK. Came from an animal shelter after being run over by a car. He was a good old cat.

Losing a pet is always hard.
We had to put Auggie Doggie down a couple years ago. It was a tough
decision but the right thing to do.
I hope someone helps me out if I get that sick,

My lookout on the boat.
