Can anyone provide me with some information on Ken Mac Boats? I know they were made in St. William Ontario, but that's about all. I have a 15 ft. runabout model, probably circa 1957, that I'm restoring and there have been so many modifications to it over the years that I can't tell what was there originally. Rob They were made by Ken Macol and later in the 60's came with fiberglass bottoms, there factory burnt down at least once and the they rebuilt. Apparently one is still standing today in St. Williams. This would have been a very simple boat consisting of an outboard, pulley steering, chocks, cleats, and lights. Probably would have had bench seats and a decent sized deck. I have a Mason built in St Williams and it would have been built about the same except mine is lapstrake. |
