There's this stuff being advertized. Shows a bunch of yuppies in capri
pants dancing bare foot on the deck... Two companies seem to make it, any ideas, is it just thick paint??? |

I don't know what the hell it is, that's why I posted the subject "what about (and here's the tricky part) *deck paint*?". Not sure if it's really deck paint but there you go... |

I've seen some commercials for a covering for older decks with weathered wood. It even claims to seal splinters. If this is the stuff you are thinking of, I'd pass on it. Apparently the finish is similar to the sprayed bed liners in trucks. Not very appealing. In fact, I think Home Depot no longer sells it. |

Up here I see Home Depot boasting about their Behr deck paint...good for wood or concrete.

Here it is: http://tinyurl.com/m84qmp5 My neighbor's wood deck was getting ready to need at least the decking itself replaced, he got some of this stuff and it really did a nice job! |

I am just wondering how it holds up on wood that might go under water, like my dock All I know is that adhesion to a wood deck that is surrounding the pool, so far, so good. |
