Not sure if I can get one for the Highlander. |

This is the unit I was interested in. Might have had it in my shed right now, except for the one low reviewer who only assigned stars... not reasons for the low rating. I sent a message off to Princess Auto asking why the low rating but their answer was just fluff. http://www.princessauto.com/pal/en/T...olly/8002896.p |

I wonder if such a tow bar would be available for the Highlanders, which are front wheel drive auto transmission vehicles. If you had the Highlander with only front wheel drive, you could tow in on an auto trailer dolly, of course, but attaching a tow bar to the front of that car...isn't it monocoupe construction? Attachment points would be a big problem. I'm just speculating here. |

The bottom line model Highlander is a 2.7 liter front wheel drive, but they sell few of them around here.
I have the 4WD model with the 3.5 liter V6. On the rear, they remove the two towing hooks and use those holes to attach the hitch. There are also 2 tow hooks in front, but I don't know if a front hitch could use those connection points. |

If you can't back a boat, you aren't going to "back" it from the front, either. A "Highlander," won't haul a *real* boat. Get a real boat, a real truck, and learn to use them. What sort of "real boat" do you have? |
