I don't know the context here, since I don't know what you are responding to, but the murder rate per 100,000 people is 2.8 to 3 times higher in the United States than it is in Canada. Among modern Western democracies, the United States is the leader in murder rate and in percentage of population incarcerated. Not statistics about which to brag, eh? |
