Anheuser-Busch gave him six figures, Colgate-Palmolive shelled out
$50,000 and Macy's and Pfizer have contributed thousands to the Rev.
Al Sharpton's charity.

Almost 50 companies - including PepsiCo, General Motors, Wal-Mart,
FedEx, Continental Airlines, Johnson & Johnson and Chase - and some
labor unions sponsored Sharpton's National Action Network annual
conference in April.

Terrified of negative publicity, fearful of a consumer boycott or
eager to make nice with the civil-rights activist, CEOs write checks,
critics say, to NAN and Sharpton - who brandishes the buying power of
African-American consumers. In some cases, they hire him as a
consultant.

The cash flows even as the US Attorney's Office in Brooklyn has been
conducting a grand-jury investigation of NAN's finances.

There are corporations upon corporations donating to causes much more
than Sharptons. Are they all crooks? Red Cross? United Way? Muscular
Dystrophy? Alzheimer's Foundation?

As usual, you miss the point. The donors are not crooks but they are
blackmailed into donating so as not to be declared racist by a guy who
used those unfounded claims to make a living for 3 decades.

Blackmail? Is PsychoSnotty involved?

Scotty's the victim, as always!

Ah, so that explains the Duval County records. It didn't work out
so

well, eh?

----------------------------------------------------

Harry didn't say that. I did, and I've never declared a tax-free

activity.

Not sure who *you* are, since google shows you both to be foad/eisboch
interchangeably. The statement, obviously, was about him.

------------------------------------------------

We both happen to share the same fake email reply address, that's all.
He can buy me out if he wants. :-)

His fishing skills seem to be about as good as Scotty's!

Horse****. No one's been "blackmailed". Insane Scotty thinks everyone is
blackmailed too!

The racism claims go away as soon as they send a big check to Al. It
sounds like blackmail or at least a "protection" racket to me.
Are you denying the tax fraud too?

Nope, and never did. As a matter of fact, I stated that I think he's a
scumbag. So, are companies that send a check to Red Cross doing so to
avoid claims of being incompassionate towards hurricane victims?

Of course not but it is well understood that Sharpton operates a bit
differently than the Red Cross.

The Red Cross does not organize boycotts and protests if you don't

send them a check.

Give it up. iIdiot's reasoning and logic skills are no better than a toad's.

If that ever happened, you'll wind up in court to get your money and he'll claim bankruptcy. :-

That's almost as good as my Church of Cosmic Energy.

Perhaps we can merge the two and form "The Church of Universal
Stuporstitious Cosmic Religious Nonsense."

Funny. BTW, I don't use Googlenews and don't have a clue how it
works but again, the above quote in incorrectly attributed.
