I don't see any way to get it right in Syria, since the forces in
opposition to the government are militants who probably will engage in
the same sort of killing as the current regime does.

There are plenty of Egyptians who love America and Americans. I know
some. I don't know anything, really, about Libya, Afghanistan and Iraq.
