Have you ever stopped and considered that the only way anybody here
knows anything about your personal life and family is because *you*
routinely provide the information, including links to pictures, etc.
and do so on an un-moderated newsgroup of all places. Anyone and
everyone in the *world* with Internet service and access to Google has
access to everything you've posted ... and will have for as long as the
Internet exists.

I'd say Facebook is better if you want to provide personal info because
you have some degree of control over who sees your posts. But even
there, I'd only make public that information you are sure cannot be
used by others for questionable purposes.
