Moving boat from Los Angeles to Florida (Vero Beach)

Hi all,

We are thinking about moving to Florida and one of the problems we have is
to figure out how to get our Beneteau 361 there.
Should we sail it, use a trucking company?

Any information would be great and appreciated!

Thanks

Wolf

Truck it to the Texas coast, sail it from there.

Cheers and fair winds.

You need to talk to boat yards, dealers, sailing pubs, boating insurance
call up West Marine and ask. Years ago I had used KAT. Note depending on
height/width - a professional is needed for large boats. They must take
routes so as not to hit bridges. Get plenty of insurance.

If you truck it I know a good transport company if interested.
