shoe marks on non-skid surface deck
Hi,
After our last trip I realized that one my crew members had semi-marking shoes. I have shoe marks everywhere in my non-skid surface deck. Is there any product out there to remove these marks easily? I tried water and a generic marine soap, but it does not work. Any help, tips or techniques will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Guillermo |

I think its cheaper at the hardware store as Acetone. same stuff, larger
container. By they way, on our boat the rule is; your shoes make the marks, your elbow grease removes them. Greg "Steven J. Someone else mentioned acetone. Make sure you wash it off completely when
done. DP "Guillermo" wrote in message ... Hi, After our last trip I realized that one my crew members had semi-marking shoes. I have shoe marks everywhere in my non-skid surface deck. Bob,
Depending on where the marks are and in what condition your fiberlglass is in: Comet or Ajax works great but be carefule not to scratch ths finish. My boat is older so it does not scratch the gelcoat finish bc its faded or have any effect on the non-skip area. The same thing just happended to me this past weekend! Soft Scrub with bleach works pretty well.

I have a household product called VIM that works miracles on the boat.
