Well settled up with the salvage company for 2,000 after Hurricane
Sandy. They wanted 4000 but out of the goodness of their hearts took
2000.

Looking at getting boat waxed soon..put batteries in at the end of
March and launch early April. Looking forward to a new season!

Glad to hear they gave you a break. Still a packet of crap. Your timeline looks about like mine.
We'll be camping along the Potomac in early April, so that'll be a good time to get the boat out and
running.

kinda rushing it aren't you bob? Watch out for those late season
freezes. All the damage is done right around the freeze point when water
expands. As it gets colder the ice contracts.

While water does expand as it gets closer to freezing, and while ice
does expand, it does it's greatest expansion around 24 degrees.

We've had pretty good luck the last few years but will keep an eye on
weather as the end of March comes.
