Canada is such a crime-free peaceful place:

"Furthermore, in recent years,[when?] the gap in violent crime rates between the United States and
Canada has narrowed due to a precipitous drop in the violent crime rate in the U.S. For example,
while the aggravated assault rate declined for most of 1990s in the U.S. and was 324 per 100,000 in
2000, the aggravated assault rate in Canada remained relatively steady throughout and was 143 per
100,000 in 2000. In other areas, the U.S. had a faster decline. For instance, whereas the murder
rate in Canada declined by 36% between 1991 and 2004, the U.S. murder rate declined by 44%. [17]
***Both Saskatoon and Regina consistently have violent crime rates that would place them among the
10 most violent cities in the US***, and often individually exceed larger US centres in terms of
total numbers for Aggravated Assaults and Robbery.[citation needed]" (Emphasis added)

Can you not read or do you just have trouble comprehending because of
your narrow mindedness? IF you could understand what you've posted,
you'd realize that the U.S. has more violent crime per capita than
Canada.

And you don't recognize the difference between an inner city struggle
between the have nots and shooting at the owner of a dog that ran in
front of a car?

It's amazing to witness the (non) recognition of fundamental
differences in circumstance. Yours is an argument I'd expect from
Snotty.

Argument? I'm making none.

Difference in circumstances? Yes, but so what? Does the shooting of black kids not warrant mention
by you? Are the shooters in those cases not exhibiting the kind of behavior you find impressive?

Dingaling: It's one thing to have gang warfare between those who
struggle to have anything in their lives resembling normalcy, it's
quite another to see violence provoked by a dog running in front of a
car.

America has a lot of stupid people who are becoming less and less
civil and more prone to sudden outburst of hate. Guns make it easier
for idiots to play out their hatred.

I don't know anything about the Picketts, but there are, literally,
hundreds of fairly large scale ammo dealers around the country that
specialize in internet sales, and there are compiled lists of these dealers.

We also have a couple of locally owned fishing/hunting dealerships
around here that usually have ammo, albeit at slightly higher prices
than the mail order houses, and a couple of licensed gun dealers who
sell out of their garages. They usually have ammo, too.
