Former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle Killed at Shooting Range; Suspect Arrested

ABC News

A man is under arrest in connection with the killing of two men at an
Erath County, Texas, gun range, police said.

One of the victims is former Navy SEAL and "American Sniper" author
Chris Kyle.

"We have lost more than we can replace. Chris was a patriot, a great
father, and a true supporter of this country and its ideals. This is a
tragedy for all of us. I send my deepest prayers and thoughts to his
wife and two children," "American Sniper" co-author Scott McEwen said in
a statement to ABC News.

ABC affiliate WFAA-TV in Dallas reported that Kyle and a neighbor of his
were shot while helping a soldier who is recovering from post traumatic
stress syndrome at a gun range in Glen Rose.

The suspect, identified as Eddie Routh, 25, was arrested in Lancaster,
Texas, after a brief police chase, a Lancaster Police Department
dispatcher told ABC News.

Brilliant...take someone suffering from a serious emotional problem to a
shooting range and hand him a firearm.

The only mental illness you are qualified to discuss is your own.

Not true. It would certainly cure Harry's ills, in the right circumstance.
You really should get your lips away from his butt.

I nominate Kyle for a Darwin award.

Krause implied that the victim brought the soldier to the gun range. I
don't know if it's true, but I do know that Krause usually gets his
facts all tangled up. Don't form an opinion following Krauses impressions.

I dunno...might be a cure for Herring and a few other righties here, if
they take their guns to town.

How's your paranoia today? Did you take your anti-psychotic meds, or do
you still think I am trying to blackmail you? Come on, jump out of the
closet and 'fess up...how many times a week do you call 1-800-THERAPIST?
