Probably should wait before coming to any conclusions about which part
of the "political correctness" globe whence this came.
Gather the evidence first.
It's quite possible that the suspension was ordered by a gun nut.
Very common for gun nuts to mistake a car, toy, tool, etc., for a gun.
I've seen that happen right here recently.
Gun nuts confusing guns for saw blades, ladders, etc.
OTOH, maybe it was the more typical teacher or school administrator, who
know very little about guns, and don't want to know.
You know, the same folks the NRA wants to arm.

What is interesting is that these gun nuts are buying ammo left and
right, so guess what? Police Departments are having trouble getting ammo
to protect citizens. Aren't those gun crazies great?

Huh?

"Straw Man"... Tim, you must have noticed the only solution they have is
registration for the eventual purpose of confiscation.

Please give cite for your insane rant above.

That's why the
idiot in chief didn't mention hollywood, vid games, or mental health in
his address. This is nothing but a political goodie bag for the current
admin.

Why in hell would one mention things that aren't relevant?

I have a *lot* of clean-firing Sellier & Bellot 115g FMJ in 9 mm I'll be
glad to sell to Herring at today's price of $100 per box of 50 rounds,
or two boxes for $300. (Yes, I know.)

Also have a lot of CCI's MINI MAG in .22LR for $85 for a box of 100
rounds, or two boxes for $200. Plus shipping, of course.

From your posts, it sounds as though you've spent a lot of time studying guns, gun owners, and the
relationships between the two.

Have you considered sending a questionnaire to ESAD. He probably has the biggest gun selection here
and could give you some straight answers about 'gun nut' behavior.

They don't really want or need the ammo, they are just trying stupidly
to make a point.

I think Tim has more firearms. I only have a few.

---------------------------------------------

Same here. S&W 38 Special (2-inch barrel) for basic home invasion
defense. At 25 yards I am lucky to even hit the target, but at 25
feet it is very accurate. Also have a Walther PPK/2 380 for the
very few times I carry and my favorite, a Ruger Single-Ten .22LR
revolver. Oh, and a 20 gauge Winchester shotgun.

Just came back from the range. Really like the Ruger. Fun to shoot,
accurate as hell and ammo is cheap. Pistols are nice and all, but I
am definitely a revolver guy. Simple. Just load, aim, pull the
trigger and it goes "bang".
