Armed guards at schools? Naive nonsense

The NRA and a few idiots here think the way to prevent shootings at
schools is to post an armed guard or have a teacher or teachers armed.

Naive and stupid.

Remember when Ronald Reagan was shot? There were six people within a
couple of feet of Reagan who were there to protect him, highly trained
people who know how to react and how to shoot.

So, what happened? Three people were shot in the attempted
assassination. So one cop, retired cop, janitor, teacher, is supposed to
be able to protect a school from someone much more heavily armed and on
a suicide mission?

Bull****.

Oh. Reagan. Here's an interesting photo of that awful day:

Fairfax County has had armed police officers in schools for many years.

Guess what, they've not accidentally shot anyone.

Go watch some video of Afghanistan. Rarely do they ever "shoot" each
other. If you watch firefight video, they keep the enemy pinned down
till Spooky comes in with the 20 mm... You don't have to shoot a
shooter to stop him, in many cases these guys off themselves as soon as
they are confronted...

There you go!! If a shooter comes into a school, the retired cop will
keep him there until someone can come and drop a bomb on the school.
Good thinking..... IDIOT!
