makes sense to me....
Which do the American people prefer, cockroaches or Congressmen? The
answer won’t surprise you…In a new PPP survey, Congress garnered just a 9 percent favorable rating. That means Americans rank Congress lower than root canals, head lice, colonscopies, used car salesmen, traffic jams or cockroaches. Then again, Congress does combine some of the worst elements of used car salesmen, traffic jams and cockroaches. On the bright side, Congress is still marginally more popular than John Edwards, Lindsay Lohan, the Kardashians, communism, bullies, and the ebola virus. It’s an amusing poll, but there’s a sobering side. When citizens become so contemptuous and distrustful of their leaders, they become disengaged from politics. That leads to less and less responsive government. Why is all the animosity focused on Congress? Probably because it’s evenly divided politically, which gives each side someone to blame for all the problems. Maybe Congress has such low approval because half of us hate them for not compromising. The other half hate them when they do. MikeHuckabee.com. |

I'm thinking many of the voters didn't know what they were choosing. -- **Those who think they can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of them better take a closer look at the American Indian.** |
