Bad luck?
Today I hoisted a foresail upside down. Sometime later a stay parted and my
rig went over the side. Last time I did this (15 yrs ago) we had a crewmember helicoptered off and got a rope round the prop. Is this an old superstition, or ami starting a new one? |
Bad luck?
No, just bad maintenance. I lost a rig once due to a starting line crunch.
We fixed it that afternoon and got sailing again the next day and got third in the series. DP "Don Taylor" wrote in message ... Today I hoisted a foresail upside down. No. Several of the more prolific alt.sailing.asa respondents are deeper into this style of sailing. You could learn a lot from them. Hang in there, James |
