By his piers as well as his opponents, he was hailed as a highly
respected leader. He had my respect. Not only for his service in
WW2, but also as a common sense law maker. He DID serve his country.

I agree, he was not only a past hero, but he was open to ideas from both
sides of the aisle. We have NO ONE now who does that.

I agree, he was not only a past hero, but he was open to ideas from both
sides of the aisle. We have NO ONE now who does that.
