Small cats have less space inside compared to similar length monos. Tri's
have less again. After about 36ft things start to equalise a little. Multis are usually faster than monos. multis are more sensitive to weight and will lose speed rapidly when overloaded. While multis feel more stable they will not right themselves after a knockdown. DP "akoda" wrote in message ... Can anyone tell a novice what advantages you have in a conventional sailboat vs. a catamaran or trimaran. Thanks |
