Look'it. Let me ask a question as a second amm. supporter that doesn't
own guns. Do you really imagine some "crack head" coming at you when you
are firing your weapon at the range??? LOL. Where do you go? Where do
you live, cause a "crackhead" is the furthest thing from my mind when I
am out of my home:)... Just sayin'...

LOL. You definitely misread my comments, which were made in the context of the marines arming their guys with .45s.

I like to practice at the range with my 9mm. Cheap ammo, accurate and fun.

If I were ever to have the proverbial crackhead coming at me, I'd want something with more knockdown than a 9mm. Most police departments figured that out pretty quickly.

I don't carry, because I don't feel the need. The only time I've ever felt slightly threatened was in a bad part of Atlanta a few years back, and the tonfa between my seats would have done the trick.

Yeah, I was just kind of bustin' your ass... I didn't really think you
put yourself into those "loogieesque" situations very often...

It's possible to buy it in a variety of calibers for stopping bad guys, and also buy a conversion
kit to fire a .22 long rifle round for cheap target practice.

Good idea, huh?

It's too big for concealed carry of course. If you just want
something for inexpensive target practice, there are better guns such
as the S&W 41, Ruger III or an old High Standard Supermatic.

For home defense something like a 38 Special revolver is probably the
safest.

But a 38 special doesn't have the phallus power that he's looking for.

Why do you have to do a double tap with 9mm? Because it isn't a .45!

I find it interesting that when the military is equipping guys who
actually have to shoot people, they do not give them M9s

The Marines just bought 12,000 .45 Colts, a 1911 variant.

One shot, one kill. Semper Fi!

Dirty Harry would have one if they were available in his day.
