Wayne played Wayne for a long long time. People liked him for who he played on screen and for his persona off screen. He seemed larger than life. Hell, I liked him; I thought he was a pretty good actor. I liked Charlton Heston, too, until he lost his mind with the National Rifle Association. Heston, in my opinion, was a better actor than Wayne. I don't really give a **** whether Wayne was in the military. Being in the military only means you were in the military. It doesn't mean that you are a good person or a bad person. I see you got my note. |
