I bet Lee County will. That is where the TV station nailed them with a

Personally I just think they should all be charged with perjury.

I've repeatedly given you credit for being fair-minded and then you go
and prove me wrong. This thread is a good example of the latter.

If Sherrie is going to jail for lying at a bail hearing why shouldn't
aliens go to jail for lying on a voter registration when they said
they were citizens or on the jury summons where they said they were
not citizens. One of them has to be perjury.

One of them is an accused killer going to trial for second degree
murder and the other is stealing a vote. I suppose those are moral
equivalents in your mind.

This has nothing to do with whether Zimmerman goes to trial for
murder. It is only the terms of his bail. He has not demonstrated any
flight risk so far and showed up every time he was summoned.

If he were a stand up guy, as you suggest, why the need to lie to a
judge and collude with his wife in order to do so?

I imagine he was trying to conserve enough money to pay a lawyer. This
is going to be a $100,000-200,000 trial for him. You can bet your ass
O'mara's fee will be all he has.

And to buy bullet-proof jackets, as the transcript indicates. His life was being threatened, his family was in hiding, he knew he had lots of expenses looming. The MSM and even the POTUS was condenming him without a trail. Any of the resident idiots blaming him would do similar in his position, if they had any sense of protecting their family and themselves.

Are you saying that he done the right thing by lying to the judge, under
oath?

Anyone who ever watched any of the myriad courtroom shows knows that
if you get caught lying your ass is grass.

Why would hiding the truth from the judge help him conserve money? The
cost of the bond isn't a good reason to sacrafice your integrity in a
very public way in the same district and court that's about to try you
for murder.

He's a stupid asshole is the correct answer to why he'd do something
so stupid. But you feel free to defend his actions, because you'd
probably make the same sort of decisions in the same circumstance,
right?

I have already admitted he is pretty dumb.

I would have had an attorney in front of all of this and nobody would
hear me say anything to anyone.

You likely would not have gotten into a fight with a teenager walking
around your neighborhood and shot him.
