Just in case you thought boating in Florida was all fun in the sun, we have some unique hazzards here. The real question is just how did his hand get so close to the alligator? If he was trying to lure the 'gator closer with food he got what was deserved but that's just speculation on my part. |

We were only ones on one boat run by a Seminole. Fed Gators bread. had one try to climb in boat. Another one made the water dance and terrific racket as little ones came close and barked. Mama didn't like anyone getting to close to her babies. Posed with one on a hummock or island. he was only about 5 ft. he and the Indian were familiar. A critter with a brain about the size of a walnut runs on instinct and we look like food. |
