....a family of assholes.
Ann Romney: Family Dog "Loved" Riding on the Roof The GOP hopeful's wife addresses the Seamus anecdote that continues to cause headaches for her husband. By Abby Ohlheiser | Posted Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at 11:17 AM ET Take that, Gail Collins. Seamus the dog "loved" riding in a crate on top of the car, according to Ann Romney. Speaking to ABC's Diane Sawyer, Ann Romney responded to criticism of one of the most (in)famous Romney anecdotes about a 1983 trip to Canada from Boston that the family dog spent in a crate lashed to the roof of the car. "He would see that crate and, you know, he would, like, go crazy because he was going with us on vacation," Romney explained. "It was to me a kinder thing to bring him along than to leave him in the kennel for two weeks." In the story (which you can read here in a Boston Globe piece from 2007), the dog ends up getting the runs, and Mitt Romney pulls into a gas station to hose down his car and the dog. The family then continues with their trip. Romney critics have used the dog on the roof story to contend that Romney is uncaring and, well, weird. Also speaking to Sawyer, Romney said that he "certainly" would not do the same thing again, "with the attention it's received." http://tinyurl.com/cxkk9wt |

Sure does seem like bad judgements to treat the family pet that way. Now if you put Kevin or JustHate up there... In winter... Not so bad! |

Not too bright to send your kid to Mexico in the care of 25 party animals either. |
