That's what Zimmerman says he said, but you can't believe him.

The bottom line is this has gone quite a way from "coon."
And I firmly believe any so-called "expert" can make the word come out
however he wants, and according to how he "enhances" it.

I never heard "coon." Pretty old word anyway.
Hell, my grandaddy, dad and uncles were mostly the ones that used coon.
If Zimmerman had said jigaboo there'd be no question.
Then again, maybe an "expert" sound guy hired by Sharpton can squeeze
