Default Chesapeake Bay Foundation could use some help....

.....and it doesn't care who provides it. The menhaden population has been steadily declining. A

Isn't that the fish that they seine out to make fertilizer? (big plant
on the mainland Va shore near Tangier island)
They were talking about over fishing them 30 years ago.

That's it. They find the schools with helicopters and then come in and take 'em by the ton. Menhaden
are not just food for the stripers and blues, they also filter a tremendous amount of water.
