A new boat among our boat friends...
 

A friend just bought an interesting boat… an Albermarle 24 foot center
console. After doing the river trip down to Charleston with us last
year, he got the itch to get back into doing some coastal and offshore
boating (he lives on the local lake), but his 21’ Chaparral wasn’t up
to it.

It has the Volvo composite Sea Drive on it with a jackshaft setup, so
the motor is in/under the center console. The ride is solid and dry.
It’s a really nice boat, and you don’t see many of them on the lake.

Looks like a great boat but I'd really prefer twin engines for
offshore fishing.
