YackDonalds and Booger King...I avoid both. Did you ever look into their
kitchen doors? The filth was like something out of a comedy movie.

Well, whattya expect when you leave maintenance in the hands of teenagers???

Back in the olden days when I worked for a computer company I spent a lot of
time in the back of Wendy's and Burger King. (Chili's, Arby's and most other
places that bought or planned to buy computer registers) Some were as clean as
any resturant you can find, others we called "roach motels".
The bottom line, it all depends on the manager. The price of the food has very
little to do with the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Still, gross is gross. BTW are you any relation to Bud Fretwell?

My best advice is to look around the dining room and around the register. If it
is grungy there the kitchen is going to be grungy

No on Bud, at least as far as I know. When I poked around on geneology.com it
appears my great grandfather Fretwell may have just found someone's wallet.
It dead ends with him. We all appear to be decended from some folks in York
England. There seems to be about 7 or 8 immigration records in the 18th and
19th century. I can't get to any of them.
