Winterizing Question

Someone posted this URL here befo
http://www.brownsmarina.com/tech-winter-outboard.html

This is a very good article. but something I am not quite sure.. Can
someone tell me what does it mean by "roll the engine over by hand"? pls
forgive me not good in english..

Quote from article: "For those that may be storing for extended periods of
time or in warm humid conditions, you might want to remove the spark plugs
and squirt some additional 2 stroke engine oil or fogger into the cylinders,
then roll the engine over by hand to thoroughly coat everything. Re-install
the plugs to minimize condensation during the storage period."

Thanks...

==================================

It means to turn the crankshaft without using the starter motor. This
can only be done with all sparkplugs removed on most engines, usually
by grabbing the fan belt with your hands and pulling, or by using a
wrench.
