In the Republican race for the presidential nomination, Newt Gingrich's
support continues to slowly grow, and he is now tied with Mitt Romney
for second place, while Herman Cain just edges both of them out for the
top spot. Both Cain and Romney have lost support since late October.

In a new CBS News Poll, 61 percent of Republican primary voters say the
sexual harassment accusations against Cain won't make any difference in
their vote, but 30 percent say the charges make them less likely to back
him, and that rises to 38 percent among women. Cain has lost support
among women since last month - from 28 percent in October to 15 percent
now. He has lost ground with conservatives and Tea Party supporters as well.

I am not so sure that this country needs a morality example right now as
much as it needs
someone who can identify goals and has the horsepower to do the arm twisting
required to
get 'er done. The last real bad ass president we had who filled that
description was
Lyndon Johnson. In the inner circles he was despised by many but he knew
how to broker
deals and make people pay if they didn't see it his way. He was a *******
to many, but a very
effective leader.

programs to solve our economic problems.
You might be correct, but there's an equal number of people who disagree
with you. Problem right now is that we
lack the true leadership qualities required of a POTUS to get *anything*
done.

Obama may be starting to wake up, but he's also still too concerned with
being *liked* (i.e. re-elected).
I am on record as expressing my concern that he was not a *leader* back when
he ran for the office.
To date he has proven me correct. To the dismay of many who supported him
he has been a disappointment so far.
To his credit however, he appears to be starting to realize that he can't
play nice guy manager in order to accomplish things.

Johnson would never had put up with the bull****.

Interestingly enough, 0bama's history is indicative of someone who
comes, shoots off the month and then when the deliver falls short,
leaves the kitchen when it gets too hot. But for 0bama, nothing bigger
