I've had excellent results with ones made by Steiner, a German company. Rather pricey but incredible optics and waterproof. I couldn't find information on whether they were also submersible, but upon writing to the company, the 8x30 Navigator binoculars are rated for a depth of 15 feet for 45 minutes and can withstand a temperature change of 70 degrees with no fogging. (I am guessing this is going to be true of their other waterproof binoculars as well.) Pretty amazing specs. Prior to this, I could only find submersible binoculars that were rated to a depth of 1 meter for 5 minutes. |
