I would guess that since this review things have changed in the
marketplace quite a bit. I have written to them and have asked if they
plan to write an article on the current state of submersible binoculars.

A little old, I agree but I don't think high quality optical devices
are redesigned that often. I have the article - unfortunately I just
trashed my fax machine but I'll snail mail it to you gratis if you

The reply I got back from Sea Kayaker Mag was that they had no plans to
update that particular article.

However, they might do another similar one when image stabilizing
binoculars come down in price.

Didn't even know that there were image stabilizing binoculars
available...
