Hello. I'll be traveling in the banff area at the end of June and I'm
looking to do some white water rafting in banff or kootenay. I hear the Kootenary River and Kicking Horse River are quite good. I'm looking for Class IV rapids, with the occasional class V rapid mixed in on the trip. I probably only have time for a half day trip. Can someone recommend a good company? Is Kicking Horse or Kootenay better? Or are they pretty similar? So, far I know of a couple places: www.raftingtherockies.com www.rafting.ca www.wildwater.com but, I don't know which of these are the best (and most responsible), and I'd like something fairly challenging/adventurous. Any recommendations would be appreciated. thanks! |
